20 DAYS OF UI

For 20 Days I used Sketch and Figma to hone in on my prototyping skills and explore ideas without the restriction of having to fully flesh them out. Here are my favorite screens and concepts from the 20 days.

EGG HÜNT

I believe an app that sends users on a scavenger hunt around their cities and rewards them with free meals/discounts/prizes could connect tourists and natives to their local businesses in a way that traditional tours could never. The experience of a scavenger hunt is playful and often sparks interaction between the user and people they would never usually speak to.

CLEAR

Inspired by the idea of the "Distraction Free Phone" below I have created a rough concept for an interface that will allow users to delete their social media but keep up with the things and people they care about. This would promote a more mindful usage of social media and get rid of endless streams of content. In this challenge, I played with creating my own gradient.

BIBLIO

I thought about the experience of listening to an audiobook and thought about how I would build upon the experience while keeping the interface uncomplicated. In line with innovation, I decided to dream up an application where the audiobooks were read more like an audio show. In line with making something that is not over-designed and minimal, I attempted to use a very limited color palette and really thought about the elements I was using.

BUD

What if instead of buying a nameless plant you adopted a plant from a nursery? I believe this experience would give the plant more character and make the owner feel more attached to their new friend. Imagine if each plant was sent with a care guide and note on the small things that they liked?
